In 2016 EPL is celebrating it's 30th anniversary

The journal was founded in 1986 as Europhysics Letters by the European Physical Society (EPS), the Société Française de Physique (SFP) and its subsidiary EDP Sciences, the Società Italiana di Fisica (SIF) and the Institute of Physics (IOP). The journal was re-launched as EPL in 2007 and has grown significantly in content and visibility. To celebrate this milestone a selection of collector items may be available at various events throughout the year, and a special EPL 30th Anniversary session will be held at the EPS Condensed Matter division meeting in Groningen in September.
