News del 07/04/2015

The 4th EIROforum School on Instrumentation (ESI 2015) will be held in Garching, Germany, 15-19 June 2015 and hosted by ESO & EUROfusion.

ESI is a biennial event, jointly organized by the Instrumentation Working Group of the EIROforum organizations.

The objective of ESI is to teach detector physics and the basic principles of instrumentation to young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) and engineers, mainly from the EIRO organizations. A fraction of the places will be reserved for particularly talented (PhD) students from outside the EIRO organizations who work on instrumentation topics.

The scientific programme of ESI addresses all aspects of instrumentation related to the missions of the EIROforum organizations.
Apart from the core programme, this fourth edition of the school will cover "Advanced electronics" as highlight topic.

Deadline for registration: 1 May 2015.

Participation to the school is free of charge.
Financial support from the AIDA-2020 project is available for a limited number of students. In case of a high number of requests, preference will be given to students from the AIDA-2020 community.
